{My little Helper}

Don't you just love my little helper? She LOVES helping me whenever she can. Outside or cleaning inside. She loves to ask for a wipe and help me dust. Although her baby wipes leaves smudges and I have to go over it again. I just have to sit back and enjoy the moment. They just grow up way too fast! It's amazing!

So last night we tried to give the plants a good soak, but I mostly just enjoyed Cambree play in the water! While I ran inside to grab the camera she must of lost control of the hose and she ended up soaking her head and dress. At first she wasn't quite sure what to do. She was trying to catch her breath from the freezing water. She says, "Mama I do it!" and "Look Mama water plants!" Why didn't someone tell me sooner how much fun being a parent was!

Yippee a YARD!

So my husband knows just how excited I am about a yard. I have only bugged him everyday until the crew showed up to start my yard. It was a little embarrassing how tall our weeds were getting. I no longer was out there snipping them down. After attempting once I could barley walk the next day. Not a good thing for pregnant me to be doing! But, our sod just was put in yesterday and it just gives me relief! I am so excited to enjoy my yard for the rest of the summer and Cambree is super excited too. We can go and play outside finally!!! There is a little cleaning up to do still, but I'll post some pictures when it is all done.

New England (caution Post & Picture overload)

Our trip with the Archer's!

Spreading Alice's ashes...

This is really the reason for this trip. We lost little Alice a year ago exactly on this day. She wanted her ashes spread in the ocean. Herbie had this spot choosen for her to go! She had passed away on 7/23/07. Which was really ironic because her favorite numbers were always 7-23. I guess she used these numbers for a lot of different things. It was a nice peaceful spot and we had in mind that this is what Alice wanted. Here are a few pictures...

Rye Beach in New Hampshire

A day at the beach. This spot was where Michael and his brother's and sister's would go growing up. I guess it has gotten lots bigger since than. Cambree didn't know what to think of the sand at first. But, it didn't take long for her to get used to it. She was having so much fun. We had done so much traveling it was nice to relax at the beach. It was fun watching Cambree run around and get dirty on the beach. Mike would build little castle's with her and she would immediately smash them. After the beach we went to this restaurant right off the coast. It is so pretty here!

New York

Here are some pictures of ground zero. They are doing the rebuilding so everything is blocked off. So this is pretty much what you see. We couldn't find the memorial they have from 9/11 unfortunately. But, it was pretty interesting to see.

We took the harbor tour to see the Statue of Liberty. We really wanted to get tickets to walk in it, but they sell out really fast. It was still really neat to see it. This was my first time to New York it was incredible, but very dirty!!!

From the top of the Empire State Building

Walking up to the Empire State Building
It took us about 2 hours to get to the top.

So many people it was crazy. I was a

little nervous getting close to the edge with

Cambree even though it has a pretty high

fence. But, at least we had a chance to see it!

Maine

Our last destination we visited Maine. I thought Maine was definitely the prettiest place we visited. Every town we hit was so cute and the air was so clean and refreshing. I didn't get to many scenic pictures of Maine. There was a down poor of rain when we were sight seeing we even drove by George Bush(Sr.) home in Kennebunkport. It was patrolled by the F.B.I. because the current President was there with the President of France, but it was still cool to drive by it. Here are a few picture's of Maine!
Michael and Herbie getting there seafood fix!
Portland, Maine
Cambree and Cason

These two had so much fun together.

Mimi, Herbie and Pat
These are friends of Alice and Herb's. They did
lots of traveling when Alice was here. It was great
to hear all the stories of Alice. They live right by
the water on this peninsula it was pretty.

Cambree was a little trooper. She just went with the flow everyday. She loved being with everyone and enjoyed all the attention she was getting!!!We think she had a lot of fun! It was a long vacation but it was so fun to see everything we saw. I had never been back East. Everything is so green and foresty. Thanks to Herb that planned all the reservations and all the fun things we were able to see. But, it sure is great to be home at last!!!

Ultrasound Picture

Here is a picture of my baby. You can see it is her face and she has her hand in her mouth. Sorry it's pretty small to see.
I have a few more pictures, but they aren't that good. I was a
little disappointed with what he printed out. And he didn't get other pictures besides her face. So this is the best one out of the one's I have. She isn't too extremely active right now, but
I definitely feel her. More usually after dinner or when I lay down at night. I love the feeling of those small kicks that you get. I am also still feeling really good. It is tiring at times and hate feeling huge but it's all worth it in the end!!!! Isn't she cute???

It's a GIRL, they think.....

I had my ultrasound a couple weeks ago and we got a sneak peek at the baby. As far as he could tell it looked like a little girl. So I might need to go again to be sure, but we are pretty confident that it's a girl! Maybe we will be surprised, I don't know. Either way everything looked great. I have meant to get some pictures to post of the baby, but didn't have time before our vacation. We are super excited and think Cambree will be too. I know there was a few of you that wanted to know and as soon as I get home I will post a picture from the ultrasound of the little one!!!
