If only we could all live our life through a childs eye. The simplest of things are what makes these little ones SMILE.

a day in the life...

of my 5 month-old Sienna.

(yes, she is FIVE months old already. yikes.)

{her face every morning between 6:30 am to 7:00 am...waking up from a FULL NIGHTS SLEEP...yes, she's still sleeping through the night...insert HUGE jump for JOY and a LOUD shout HOORAY here}

{she now is starting to really love all her interactive toys. she loves anything that lights up, makes noise and plays music.}

{and time for some delicious food...which could range from rice cereal, pears, bananas, and apples.}

{ a good feeding follows a fun - filled bath. i know she looks extra full in this one.}

{than she is always ready for her morning nap. Her naps can range from 2 to 3 1/2 hours. Her bath must make her feel really good.}

{after morning nap, she always wakes up happy...and is read to hang out with her sister...watching a movie or just hanging out. And time for another feeding (of coarse).}


{while she plays she sometimes eats her feet or gets fascinated with her hands.}

{sometimes she just loves to sit up in her Bumbo and look around.}

{she is getting pretty talented now and can grab things to put them in her mouth.}

{and she loves playing in her saucer.}

{if we need to go anywhere she is always happy. she loves to take rides in the car and usually falls asleep.}

{than, when daddy gets home it's time to chillax. have dinner and play until she is sleepy and ready for bed.}

{she is so cute and cuddly when she's faasssstt asleep.}

i love you, sweet Sienna! happy 5 months. please, will you stop growing now?? i like you the way you are...

You're Gonna Miss This!

Don't you ever wish you could stop time? That your kids could stop growing up so quickly? Everyday Cambree is doing something new and growing bigger! Getting smarter, spunkier, Sassier, and more fun as ever!

Today we stopped by the park so she could play for awhile. She loves to be outside and run around. She even made a few friends today and finally went down the slide all by herself. But, mostly she loved running up and down this bridge. Her new thing now, is she always says, "You can't catch me, mom!" So of coarse, I run and she runs faster until I catch her! She thinks it is so much fun and I love the look in her face when I'm chasing her!

I am truly going to miss this! She is at such a cute stage right now. Maybe just maybe by capturing these moments I won't forget! I truly feel so blessed everyday to wake up to my children and hearing them laugh! I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world. So thankful. So blessed.

That saying is so true about raising children...

The days are long, but the years are short.

This oNe is loving her baby foOd. She pretty much is loVinG most eVerYthiNg I give her. She actually gets exCitEd when she sees me coming with her baBy food. She LoVes sweet potatoes, pEaRs, applesauce and sqUaSh the most! I love how she sLuRps it off the sPooN and the cute faces she pulls! She sure lOveS her food if yOu can't tell! :)

{Cambree Walking}

Finally.....it worked! I don't know what I did different, but I finally posted a video. I know this is a older clip when Cambree first started to walk with her walker. She was probably 11 months or so. I'll have to post some current ones soon. Seriously this doesn't seem that long ago, but she certainly has changed a lot!

CambRee noticed it was rAiNinG out and iMmediAteLy wanted her rain boots and umbrella. She loves her bRella and boOts. She had so much fun runNing up and down the deCk in the raiN. She loved the souNd of the rain hitting her umbrella. She finally decided she was getting a little bit too cold and came in. I couldn't hElp but get a few pictures of this. She was haviNg too much fUn!

easter fun. (part 1)

We started our EaSteR festivities on SatUrDay with my mom! She had planned the entire day for all of us and we had a spleNdid time! We first hit the movies house and watched MOnsteRs vs. AlieNs. Cambree woke up super early (6:00 am.) full of excitement knowing we were going to see a movie with all of her cOusiNs. I tried to get her to go baCk to bed, but she wasn't having it. So, of coarse, she was falling aslEep as we were dRivIng in. LUCkily, she woke up hAppy and in her moVie seat ready to go! She loved it and sat the entiRe show on grAndMa's lap!

And of cOaRse, we too had a EaSteR egg hunt! It's so much fuNner now that CambRee is a little older for this. Last year, we went to oNe and she was terRifiEd with all the milliOns of kids surrounding her that she didn't daRe move. This year it was just her cOusIns in the baCk of grandma's. She filled her EAsteR basket right up! The fuNny thing about this giRl is she reAlly doesn't even like caNdy. So luCky for me, I can thrOw all of it away wiThoUt a care. I guess you could sAy she isn't your typiCal toddler. She doEsn't even liKe gum. How weIrd is that?
After the huNt we had a deliCioUs turkey dinner prepArEd by my mom. It was so good. We plAyEd games and grandma hide a EaSteR surprise for all of the kiDs. They had clues and had to fiNd their present hidden sOmeWheRe in the house. I don't thiNk Cambree stayed in one plAce the entire dAy she was busy bUsy busy!

SieNna even enjoyed the shOw. She would get exCited and wave her arms up and dOwn. She was faScinAted with the large screen. She sat on my lap the whole time and eVentUally closed her eYeS and went to sleEp. As long as her Belly is full she doesn't make a pEep. She is so eaSy-gOiNg just like her dad.

Cambree loves playing with all of her cousins! This is her and Kayslynn playing London Bridges. And the very best part of the day? No accidents. Not one. They all got along and had so much fun playing!

All the girls got matchIng dresses from graNdMa. They all waNted to try them on. Aren't thEy cute? I love the seCoNd one with all of them giVing me some 'AttitUde'!

WhAt cAn I sAy, EaSteR wAs Great!

It's always nice to be surrounded by our family and to really enjoy the day. All the kids had a blast as usual. Grandma always makes everything so much fun. Thanks mom for having all of us and for EVERYTHING!

Cambree loved seeing the goats today! She kept saying how stinky they were, but could of played with them for hours. The mommy goats sure are ugly, but the babies are so cute!

it's time to have a lil chat about american idol.

this season has been an interesting one. lots of changes:
the new judge: kaaara or Kah-ra or however you say it. She's
gorgeous. smart. and adds some great perspective as such an
accomplished musician herself. the judges save: i wonder when they're gonna pull this bad-boy out. If Matt would've been the bottom last week i think they would've used it.
i like the new rule. the new intro: very snazzy. i bet Simon lllllooooooovvvveeesss it.

and now for my thoughts on the new contestants (in no particular
order):
(p.s. one way that i rate my favorites is whether or not i would buy their CD....pretty biased, i know......but that's what this whole post is about.)

Anoop: used to be fan. now he just bugs me. he's really arrogant and i despite that characteristic in a contestant. and really, i don't think he's as good as he thinks he is. and I wouldn't buy his CD.

Scott: while i like him, but i'm not a Scott fan. I'd never buy his CD. and I'll just leave it at that.

Allison: super super natural talent. i think she is an amazing singer. she's got some mad vocal skills. i just wish she didn't sing such angry songs all of the time. but i'd probably buy her CD.

Adam: geeze this guy is good. and weird. he totally reminds me of a broadway star. i like how it's always a surprise with him. in my opinion, he's one of the three that possesses "star quality" as Simon calls it. and out of curiosity, i'd defiantly buy his CD.

Danny: i've liked him from the beginning. i love the sound of his voice. and i think he's one of those that i think possesses star quality. i'm just hoping that he spices it up/changes it up a bit....because even though i love him, i worry that he is just starting to sound the same each week. still, because i love his voice, i would buy his CD.

Matt: i'm a huuuuge Matt fan. but what was up with him being in the bottom 2 with such a roof-raising performance? idol is weird that way. anyways, i hope he stays around because i love his s-t-y-l-e. and i think he has a border-line star quality, and i would buy his CD. (getting bored of the CD comments yet?)

Kris: he's just hot. he was one contestant that i was super surprised made it to the top 36.....heck, even top 12 on one of those weeks.....but i'm sooooo glad he did because 1. he's the third who i think has star quality and 2. i think he's mega talented. i would most definitely, without a doubt, buy his CD. this is who Michael wants to win.

Lil: to me, she's lost. meaning: she was soooo good, but somehow has gotten swallowed by all the talent and originality in the group. i think she has tons of potential but just isn't standing out. i want her to do well....bit with the stuff she's singing right now. i would never in a million years buy her CD.

so, who are your idol favorites....and...not-so-favorites? do you agree with me? or are you gonna be one of those that won't even admit that they like the show?

i still need to watch last nights result show!
