16 months this week (whaaatt the?)

It's amazing how fast they really do grow up.
Little Sienna has become such a playful little thing.
In fact, rather than sit and eat her breakfast...or sit and do anything really, she'll look at me with those blue eyes and say, "pllllllaayy??" I have to convince her that eating is necessary and playing is secondary...but I'm not sure she believes me.

Here is little miss playful herself, along with her two favorite baby dolls she totes around with her everyday. Also way in the back, you'll see her bright colored grocery cart that she likes to push up and down the halls.
And of coarse, her baby stroller she has decided to strip down to just the bars. She no longer cares to have the carrier hooked on. If I put it back together, she will instantly take it off, and a lot of the time I will find her sitting in between the bars just chill in'. It's like she really thinks she is sitting in it or something. I personally love how she struts...with her little legs a goin' and her butt just a swaying! :)

Another fact about Sienna for you:

I'm 100% certain that her pot belly is filled 100% with Apple juice.

The Evidence:

and what a cute little pot belly it is.
It's so fun to kiss.
and gobble.
and tickle.
and to hear her point to it and say "button." for belly-button.

Question: When do pot belly's become un-cute?
Because I'm pretty sure I couldn't rock that look very well.
But for now, I'm hoping' hers stays for a long, long time.

and just for fun

Here is Jo Jo at 16 months:

She had just gotten her hair cut into her first little bob!

I loved it!

Who wouldn't?

So can anyone see any similarities at all at 16 months?

You know you're a mother when:

...the only thing you get done ALL day long is tWiRliNg, sPinNing, & daNcing.
and you don't mind. Not one bit.
Happy Friday, & happy tWiRling!

{nap time}

My daughter fast a sleep after watching The Little Mermaid, which happens to be one of her favorite movies to watch right now. Anyone that knows Jo, knows how much she loves to watch movies, especially Princess movies.
She also loves her rest. She must take after me with this one. :) She is a good napper and a lot of the time will tell me when she wants to go lay down. I think I have a thing for sleeping pictures too, because I find myself always grabbing my camera when I find her like this.
She always looks so peaceful and dreamy!

Is it Spring yet?

This child loves to climb on top of everything and I mean everything! From what I hear she is taking after her Daddy who was a big climber.
She also has fallin' in love with her baby dolls. Anytime she sees one she will run over to it, pick it up, and turn and give me a big cheesy smile with her eyes squinted and says, "baby!"
She will kiss them and hug them and push them around in her stroller. It's so cute. The one thing I can't figure out is , "Why do they all love to undress them?" She to has already found out that a naked baby is far better than one being dressed.

little Miss Hollywood...

The other day while organizing the girl's play room Cambree came across her favorite sunglasses. She put them on and said, "Momma look I'm Hollywood!" Then she said, "Take my picture Mommy...take my picture!" I think I have her trained, don't ya think? Speaking of being trained she also has been completely dry for 4 days now. We are so so proud of her!

Wonder...

Every time we go outside Sienna just loves it! I really can't wait for Spring and Summer this year it's going to be so much fun with my girls. It was pretty cold out, but Jo wanted to play with her remote control car out in the driveway.

Sienna is full of wonder and so curious about everything. I chased her around everywhere she wanted to touch and climb everything. It's like being in a completely different world to her! We went for a nice little walk around the neighborhood while Jo rode her Big Wheel and played a little in the backyard.

By the time we got inside our noses were bright red.

I hope it gets warmer soon!

little aRtist...

Most of you already know that my babygirl is a little artist...and I'm the LUCKY one that gets all of her cute & fun artwork! I lOve it! She also loves it when I join in and color with her. She loves to do crafts as well. I enjoy spending time doing this type of stuff with her and I hope to do more at home crafts/projects with her this year.

When she completed she turned to me and said, "Look Momma I color Dora just like me."

Valentine's Day

I totally gave in after telling myself that the girl's did not need a Valentine, but I couldn't help it. Once Cambree saw Abby get these Zuu Zuu pets for her Birthday, she was in lOve with them. So a week or so later, I found myself at Target (a very BAD place for me to be) buying the girl's the little hamsters.

How can you look into those little brown eye's and not want to buy her everything? Believe it or not, but I do say, "No" sometimes and it's HARD.

When she opened her Valentine she said,
"Momma this is what I wanted! I wuv these!"
They are having a lot of fun with them and Jo loves the little fun house that she can put her little pet in. Sienna was a little scared of them at first. I'm sure they appeared, 'to real' for her and she didn't know what to think. Now she picks them up and knows what to push to get them walk and so forth. I was a little hesitant to have them start playing with them right before church, but as it was time to go Cambree asked if she could take them with us and I told her No. Luckily she sat her pet down and said, "Okay Mommy" without a tantrum. Phew!

Michael took me out on Friday night to my favorite Thai restaurant. It was delicious. We had a nice night out alone while we had a sitter for the girls. Afterwards, we stopped by the mall and he bought me some MAC makeup that I so lOve! Sunday morning Jo handed me my Valentine card that she drew a cute little picture in. I always lOve getting cards from Mike, cuz he always does something real creative and involves the girls. Of coarse, I ended up with not one picture of US together. Not a surprise! We really need to get better at that. All in all we had a Wonderful weekend!

Sienna & Lily

Just today Sienna just learned how to say Lily! So cute. This is Sienna and her cousin Lily on Valentine's Day. It is the cutest thing when they say new words. Sienna adores her other little people in her life. She lights up when she sees her cousins she loves to play with them. I remember not to long ago Lily would just shutter when Sienna would get to close to her. Poor girl. Afraid that she may get whacked in the head I'm sure. Sienna seems to be less rough, I hope. Now they seem to play pretty good together and sometimes you may even see them sharing!

What little heart throbs!

VaLenTiNe cRaFt...

I thought it would be fun to make some Valentine's with Jo. I saw this idea and knew that Cambree would love to get her little hands in some paint. Well, she did for awhile, but she is super independent and wanted to do everything all by herself. She ended up painting with her own paints in her Sponge bob book shortly after, but we ended up with 5 or 6 sheets of her cute little hand prints anyway.

She LOVES paint! She was a little disappointed we didn't have blue. (Whoops, I should of known!) She wanted to make blue hearts instead.
So this is the first time catching her RED handed! ha ha
One of our finished projects...
Okay, folks they are supposed to look like hearts! Ours didn't turn out as good as I hoped, but it was fun. Sienna's hands (top left), Jo Jo's (top right), and Mommy monster hands (bottom center)

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's Thursday...

I have always loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember - Anyone who knows me can tell you that. There is something about it that makes me smile. I love being a Mother to two Wonderful crazy little girls and I love to capture their lives and hold them still for a moment...

So this is the latest photo shoot with my little Si Si. I have spent all of my extra time trying to get some of these images edited (and there is A LOT of them) it's hard finding the time with my two little one's who need Mommy to play with them. I planned on showing some Valentine crafts that me and my girls have done, but I still haven't found the time to get them on the computer yet. So I decided to share some MORE pictures of my baby girl! This girl makes me SMILE a lot!

They may just make you SMILE too!

i{heart)faces - Week 6 - We Heart Kisses

Chance made us Sisters
Our hearts
made us friends

This week at i{heart}faces the theme is "We{heart}kisses." This is one of my absolute favorite shots of my girls, for obvious reasons. I cannot even begin to explain the love that I have for my two perfect girls that are in my life. It makes me even happier that they LOVE each other so much! I only had time yesterday to get a "kiss" picture to enter and I was so happy that they were full of kisses!

Head on over to I{heart}faces for more kissin'...

Our tiNy dAnceR...

It's been awhile since I have written about my favorite 3 year old Girly, Cambree. Cambree is...full of life. She is LOUD & FUN. She is iN lOve with daNcing around the house, MUsic, a cOmbiNation of toons (cartoons), her sippie of juice, and a bowl of cereal, her little sis, play-dates with her frieNds and couSins, pAinting/cOloRing, fRostiNg, baKing bRoWnies with mom, piZza, CinDeRella, pAinted tOes & nAils, afteRnoon oUtiNgs, dOra, sInging, blUe & pInK. & not eVeRytHing giRly. She also lOves pLaying gUns, dInoSaurs, and mOst eVerytHing tHat has a cOntrolLer (tHe Wii, DS & pLayStation).

A few of mY fAvoRite things about Jo Jo....sHe has a bIg vOcabulaRy and uSes "FaNcy NaNcy wOrds" all the time. She is HAPPY almost always; but watch OUT if she doesn't get enough rest...some sort of demand comes out of her skin & voice. She is always RunNing & waVing her head back and forth like she is running through the CLOUDS or something. She loVes affection, cLoSeneSs, & cOmfOrt; it giVes me a good reASON to jUst sit and sNuggle with heR. My very fAvOrite thing about Jo, is that Cambree lovEs to sHare with her little sis. (I think knowing how and loving to share is such a great quality), she always wants to make sure that everyone else gets to experience the goodness of her M&M's, cookie, toy, movie, or what ever it is at the moment.

Cambree is a Special GiRl and we feel so foRtunate to hAve her in our family and LiFe. We lOve YOU so much Cambree GiRl!

and CaMbree,

I hope you know how MUCH your moMmy and daDdy lOve you. You're our JOY.
Thanks Cindy for taking these one's for us and I can't wait to frame the story board!

just for the Joy of it

Some of my JOYS this week...

I totally enjoyed the couple days of fairly warm winter days we had this week. It's hard to be cooped up indoors all Winter. I can't wait to take my girls outside for walks, to the park, and see the warm sun up in the sky! Six more weeks of Winter and we are looking forward to Spring!

Cambree loves to race me! She always says, "I bet you, Mom!" Of coarse, after she wins me she will always say, "I win." Here she is racing me, but I ran a head real fast to snag a picture. She has been so cute this week about the camera too. She will say, "Hey Mom. Take a picture of ME!" So I have totally taking advantage of it.

Just for the JOY of it, this week I had a little photo shoot with the girls. (More Pict's in the previous post) It was a lot of fun! One of my goals this year, is to improve in taking pictures and to learn a lot more about photography, because I love it! I have lots to learn! I also received my Project Life by Becky Higgins in the mail. I'm stocked...I love her stuff! I still haven't opened it yet, but I plan to soon. I may have to post some of my progress as I go along! Maybe that way I will keep up on it. :)
Just for the JOY of it, Cambree has worn numerous swimming suits for her morning bath this week. She tells me that she is a Mermaid with her bathing suit on. She loves being a Mermaid! She has a great imagination! She tells me she has a tail and that she has "boobas" (boobs) just like a Mermaid too. O boy! It makes me smile.

Sienna's playfulness brings me lots of JOY everyday. She has become such a playful little thing. She loves playing with her baby, playing peekaboo, playing with all sorts of bouncy balls, jumping, dancing, and laughing whenever anyone else laughs. Her favorite, is to play WITH somebody (even though she does have moments of independence, for which I am grateful). In fact, when she realizes no one is playing with her, she'll come up to you by your index finger, and drag you next to her toys or she will drag me into the kitchen if she wants a snack. And I think to myself, "man, you know what you want and you know to go and get it, dontcha kiddo?"
I love this playful, interactive 15 month little girl.

Want some?
