Joyful Thursday :)

Thursday already?! Wow, the weeks just seem to fly by! It never seems that there is enough hours in the day anymore. However, we are very excited for Easter weekend to begin...I have made plans for the entire weekend and I'm super excited! I am looking forward to it...it's going to be a lot of fun and looking forward to spending time with my little family!
I am especially grateful for Easter, it's a time to stop and remember Our Saviour and everything that he has done for us! I am grateful for all that I have and that he has blessed me with such a loving husband and two beautiful & amazing little girls!
Happy Easter Everyone!

a Si Si post...

Sienna is getting so big. She's a full- blown toddler now - yelling when she should be quiet, dumping out snacks all of the time, laughing just because everyone else is laughing, dancing and prancing around like nobodies business, saying tons of new words every single day, and even singing parts of "twinkle twinkle" and "ring around the roses." She loves shoes too. Oh how she loves shoes. She will play in Cambree's closet forever...taking them off and on and off and on. My favorite new thing that she does when she sees me folding laundry is comes up to me grabs a piece of clothing, like a shirt, and comes, fans it out, and says "cuuuuuuuuuttteeee!" What a girly girl she is.
She melts my heart.

i{heart}faces - "Focusing on Angles"

It's time for another I{heart}faces challenge, the theme this week is "Focusing on Angles." They want to see images with interesting angles. Stand higher than your subject, lay on the ground, move to the side, tilt your camera while shooting...to give your photo a uniqueness of it's own. So this afternoon, I took a picture from above of my very imaginative 3 year old, who loves to pretend she is a kitty! She thought I was extra cool today, because I added some whiskers and painted her cute little nose for her...Oh. how. I. lOve. her.

The girls!

So here are a few pictures from the weekend since I promised! The girl's had a lot of fun together. There was drama of coarse...When isn't there drama with two 3 year old girls? They both had their fair share of taddle telling and crying moments, but it always ended with a hug or a "I'm sorry!"

I didn't realize I didn't get very many pictures of Sienna, but she has had a runny nose all weekend. I'm sure you all could pass on looking at my girl with a snotty nose! She is teething again...getting her 2 top molars in. So I might have to post some of her soon! :)

We had a sleepover on Friday night we stayed up pretty late watching movies and playing. I really wanted to take the girls somewhere on Saturday, but it was so cold. We tried the park, but ended up grabbing some lunch and going back home to play indoors!

So on to the girls...

Looking at the Princess books...
They both made up their own stories to all of the Princesses! Cambree's favorite Princess is Cinderella and Kays loves Belle. This is when I wish I had my camcorder! Of coarse, the battery needed to be charged. They both told me the cutest stories! Girls can be so sweet!
Totally a "Kacey look", I think...
They found some dress up...
They were casting spells...
Looking Innocent...
You can tell just how happy having Kacey over made my little Jo Jo! :)

Kacey as a "Good Witch!"
Playing games before nap time! :)

"Kays is coming to are house?"

My girl's are in heaven today! They are having so much fun playing at home with this sweet little girl, Kayslynn! She is my niece. Most of you have probably seen her a time or two. Isn't she beautiful? Anyways, this is who little Jo Jo gets in a lot of trouble with! :)

They are being little angels today! Yay!

They are playing pretend all afternoon. Lets see they have been Hannah Montana, Cinderella, Princess and the Frog, Witches, Kitties, and babies....amongst a lot of other things. Sienna has loved having her cousin over too...she even skipped her morning nap tagging along side her and Big Sister! She is asleep now though.

So I get to watch Kays and her older brother, Trent this weekend while their Mom and Dad go out of town to celebrate their 6th Anniversary! Happy Anniversary Clay and Michele! I love you guys!

So my agenda this weekend, while hanging out with the kiddo's and my mom...I am planning on getting more pictures to share. I just wish it could warm up a bit outside. Brrrr.....it's so cold!

I hope everyone has a fun filled weekend!

The Park!

Freedom ~ March 16, 2009

Finally a warm day to play outside! The girl's loved playing at the park this week! It was their first experience of the playground for this year. They both had so much fun running, exploring, swinging, going down the slide to their little adventurous hearts content. I just let them run and they found their much needed and happy freedom.

You Capture.

Photobucket

This weeks theme at You CAPTURE was Quiet. As you can imagine, there isn't too much "quiet" in my life with my two girls. When they play together they can be very Loud! Who would of known how loud two little girls can be! I love everything about my girls playing together. It's honestly my favorite part of having two children. Their interactions are priceless. I never want to forget the giggles they share together.

I also love the moments when they are sleepy and tired and need a nap and it becomes quiet! A chance to catch up on something or simply just enjoy the quietness around the house. Sienna rarely falls asleep on her own. She likes to be on my bed and she usually will want me to lay next to her until she falls asleep.

The other day I had Sienna up in her high chair eating lunch and I could tell she was super tired...almost falling asleep while eating! So I picked her up and rocked her for two seconds and she was out!

I'm a sucker for Sleeping Babies!!!

This blog carnival is brought to you by Beth over at ishouldbefoldinglaundry.com/. Head on over and check out some more "Quiet" shots!

just for the JOY of it!

Sienna was being a little ham today...she loves to tease a lot lately! Oh how she makes me Smile! We sat around home all day today and it felt good! It looked warm outside, but it was so NOT! I really wanted to take the girls to the park...Hello where is Spring? I even put the girls in one of their Spring dresses today. I can't wait for flip flops and skirts and a excuse to get a pedicure! Oh my!
So 'just for the JOY of it...here is my sweet adorable little monster who loves to climb up on everything! I also have been finding her emptying out all my cupboards and drawers around the house. So much for trying to be organized around here....let's just say, "It's a good thing she is cute!"

A daughter is a bundle of firsts that excite and delight, giggles that come from deep inside and are always contagious, everything wonderful and precious and your love for her knows no bounds.

Chocolate lOvers...

Cambree loves to help me bake and she begged me to make brownies the other day. So we did even though it was still breakfast time...the girls had just gotten out of the tub and was looking like they both would need to be put back in. The girls love chocolate and best part...licking the bowl!

My babies!

This is hOw we rOll sOmetiMes...

Nuggett hOuse...

The other day Cambree begged to go to McDonald's for some chicken nuggets. This girl loves chicken nuggets. What 3 year old doesn't? But, really she knows when we go to McDonald's that she gets to play and I think that is what she really likes to do at McDonald's.

I'm retarded and drive past several McDonald's until I get to the one I like. It's fairly new and it has a lot of little toys for Sienna to play on. I hate taking my kids to the really old gross playgrounds. I know I'm a little crazy! :)

Cambree kept saying, "Are we there yet Mommy? Are we there? Are we yat the Nugget House yet?" Yes, you heard it right she calls McDonalds the "Nugget House" instead. A fairly new thing she started saying.

As soon as I find a table and sit the food down and fill up the drinks...the girls have already taken off to the playground.

Cambree was by Sienna's side almost the entire time. She always has been pretty protective of her baby sister. I've noticed it a lot more when we are somewhere with a lot of kids. Plus, there was a pretty mean boy that was there this time. He even punched another little boy in the nose and made it bleed! Cambree noticed and ran to me when it happened. We had a good talk about being nice and how hitting is a bad thing. Luckily, after the boys mom found out they left shortly after.

Sienna pounding on the drums...

After we left McDonald's we went to visit my Dad. He is retired and now gets to rebuild and restores classic cars for himself and for other people full time. He has done this his entire life and is incredibly talented! He has his own shop next to his house and we love just stopping by every once in awhile to say hello. I love my Dad a lot and my girls love to stop and see their Papa too.

The day was beautiful and we enjoyed being *out* for a change!
