Project S M I L E

Just a few things that has made me S M I L E as of late...
First off...Halloween!!!
My 4 year old has never been more excited about Halloween
until this year!
She went trick O treating even in the FREEZING Utah weather!
I was shocked!
It probably helped she was with her buddies...
Austin and Ethan (her cousins!)
She came back so excited to show me that her pumpkin was filled
with YUMMY treats!
Sienna went trick O treating too...
BUT, kept saying, "Is it otay?" "It stary" (scary)?
She has already caught on to Halloween!
She points out all the scary decorations and says, "Stary!"
She went to a few doorsteps with us, but cried the entire time.
So she sat in the car with dad.
She would of probably been fine although I would of had to pack
her the entire time.
That wasn't happening!

I taught Sienna to say, "I'm gorgeous!"
It's the cutest thing ever!
She says it and cocks her head over to the side.
Ummm....
She knows it too!

Less and less boxes are starring at me in the garage...
that puts a smile on my face!

Hubby put some carpet downstairs for the playroom!
It's funky and crazy carpet, but it will do for now.
Nothing like the old playroom in our old house ;(
But...
at least the girls have a better place to play, right?!
They love it!

We hung out with my sweet Grandma Great the other day
and we went to get Sienna's hair cut.
She officially has a cute little bob now!
I love it!
And daddy loves it too!

We FINALLY got family pictures done!
(a big jump up and down here)
It's only been about 2 year's since our last picture.
It's just nice to finally have them done.
BIG SMILES!

We busted out some old family videos last night.
It was fun!
We showed Cambree the day she was born.
She thought that was cool!
Also watched Sienna's birth and some clips when she was younger.
{PRICELESS}
Makes you realize how fast time flies by.
I'm so thankful that we have video.
Nothing replaces all the little simple things in life!

Cambree: "Mom I want to go to heaven. I have never been there before." Mom: "Well actually you have been to heaven you just don't remember it, because it was before you were born." Cambree: "Does Heavenly Father has dragons in heaven, because I really want to ride a dragon Momma!"

I shared this on facebook I know! :) I think she says something on a daily basis that makes me chuckle!

Also the other day Cambree wanted some Mascara! She likes makeup...she twisted my arm until I gave in to her. I admit though, I was a little curious to see what she would look like with it. She looked fabulous until she cried it all down her cheeks when I left her later on that night! lol

Just some thoughts - October

We have settled for the most part in our new little place. There are still a lot of things that I would like to do here, but all in all it's coming together. The best part is we survived the move even though if I see another cardboard box I think I will literally want to throw-up!

My mom is still with us probably until January. It so nice to have her here especially on the nights that Michael is still working and I have someone to chit chat too. I love all the little touches she does around the house for me. (for instance, if I come home late with the girls she will pull down the girls beds for me so I can tuck them right into bed!) Just little things like this all of the time. I'm sure going to miss her when she is gone!

I have started tending my niece Kayslynn during the week days! It's been nice. I tell her parents that she actually ends up being a babysitter for me, because the girls stay busy playing with her and don't bug me as much! :) She is a sweet little girl and is always willing to help me or help me with Sienna. Also Cambree just loves when Kays is here when she wakes up.

Have I mentioned that I started working out this month?! Yes...I have jumped on the band wagon and now love doing P90X! I'm hoping to some day fit in all these super cute jeans that I have held on to and surprisingly haven't given away!

Went shopping for Halloween costumes and Cambree was a pill and refused to try hers on. Well, we had Aunt Michele's traditional Halloween party this past weekend and her costume ended up being way to big! Such a bummer....although she wore it and still looked cute. Now I am deciding if I should find her something else that fits her better or not?!

Sienna has started to point out colors and say them. She gets a lot wrong still, but she is learning and it's fun to hear her say, "Poople" (purple) and "Wello" (yellow). She has her blue down pretty good!

Sienna also loves to do the splits! (what can I say she is a little mini me!) Little me as when I used to be super flexible and twirl around the house when I was a youngster! I think Sienna just might be my little dancer! She loves the limelight and she truly is GOOD!

Cambree on the other hand, just loves electronics and her new thing this month has been Super Mario brother's! When my nephew Austin stayed with us in September they played it for hours! I just let them...it was to fun to hear them talk about being died and becoming BIG Mario with the fireballs!

I know I don't talk about Michael (hubby) very much but he does exist! He is just busy working a lot of the time, but the girls just light up when he comes home! The girls and him will sometimes take long bubble baths together and play salon! (He may kill me for saying this...What a fun dad, right?!) It all started when Cambree was a little smaller and she didn't want her hair washed so Mike thought of playing salon and having her choose what color of hair dye she wanted with the shampoo and it worked.

Also the girls went deer hunting with dad one Saturday this month! They both wore blazing orange and rode 4 wheeler's...they came home exhausted and had lots of fun on the mountain.

I saw Thriller for the first time and LOVED it!

If I ask Sienna if she wants to go pee pee on the potty she tells me, "No my diaper!" I guess she isn't ready yet. Although she went #2 on the potty for grandma a couple times this month. She just still loves being a baby with a diaper. I'm not complaining! I want her to stay little forever! Gosh, because I just know I'm going to start to get baby hungry again so she just needs to stay little! :)

My mom makes the best Cheeseburger soup. I should share the recipe because it's to die for!

Every day as we leave our driveway Cambree will say, "Hey mom it's still pumpkin time!" (She notices every ones porch) It's so funny! She sure does love her pumpkins and we still need to carve some!

Started doing more with a super good friend from High School. It's just nice to know that there are some friendships that never die. Care you mean the world to me! Thanks for Always being that person I could always trust!

Watched How to Train your Dragon about 50 times in one day!

Kays, Jojo and Si colored pumpkins one day and the outside porch a long with it! Wow. It was a mess. Can't believe I never posted Pict's of this!

I received one of Angie and Amy's favorite picks over at i{heart}faces for - in the orchard last week. Just put a smile on my face and I absolutely love I{HEART}FACES!

I love blogging! It's fun and I have met some way cool people this way! You know who you are!!!

Although I do believe my blog has become very boring! So I am going to try to write/journal a lot more since this has sort of become my scrapbook for the past two years and I need too! I'm getting older everyday and my memory just isn't as good as it used to be or maybe it's just part of Motherhood?! I don't know.

So this is a start! :) So I will do my best to write stuff like this down a lot more and for those of you that don't know me much can get to know me better! I promise you though my life isn't that interesting, but it is what it is and I really wouldn't change a thing!

So this is it for tonight...I may add more later. I believe my nice comfy bed is calling me!

Good Night!

xoxo

i{heart}faces - Pink photo contest

I{heart}faces photo contest this week is in honor of breast cancer awareness. To all the woman, men, and families that are dealing with cancer - you are brave and keep on fighting!
I met up with a friend while she was in town along with her three adorable kids for a quick photo shoot last week. I was so privileged to meet Macy and heard a lot about her since her birth! Such a sweet little girl! I just love this one of her sleeping, it may be a little stretch for the theme considering her bow is the only thing pink, but it's worth a shot! :)

Wordless{ish} Wednesday...A day at HeeHaw's!

We spent the afternoon (a very hot afternoon) at Hee Haw's last week. We desperately needed to get out of the house for something to do. We picked up Grandma Great and my Aunt Ann who came to join me! I love hanging out with my Grandma she is so much fun! They had some farm animals and BUNNIES that the girls loved! I think that happened to be the highlight of the trip!
While Sienna held a bunny for the first time she became frozen! She didn't move at all...not even her eyes. I think she was afraid the bunny could wiggle and get free. She loved holding the bunnies! A couple of times I'm afraid the bunny wished that she didn't love it so much. She surprisingly was pretty soft with bunny and probably wished she could have one for her own. :)
Jojo has never held a bunny before either. She was a little more nervous to hold bunny. Although she thought they were pretty cool! There was pigs, chickens, and sheep, but all they wanted to give their attention to was the cute little soft black & white bunny!
Cambree rode a pony and Sienna wished that she could of. She cried...hard! This was Jo waiting in line to ride a pony. She rode a pony named Bear! She thought that was weird to name a horse bear! :)
Sienna watched sister go down a BIG slide many many times! We finally found a little bumpy slide that Sienna could do. My grandma even joined Jo going down the BIG slide. She had a little bit of a hard time getting up at the end, but she did it! (wish I had my camera ready) That's what I love about my grandma. She may be old, but it doesn't stop her...she is so cute.
And of coarse, the girls on the animal train!
So just another day, another ordinary day with my girls and loving it!
:)

Wordless{ish} Wednesday...Minnie ears, riding bikes & slide

I dug out some of Cambree's old Halloween costumes the other day and found Minnie Mouse. I had to try it on Sienna I just knew it would fit her now. Of coarse, I had to take her outside for some quick snapshots. Although, she wouldn't look at me at all! So typical of her! O'well.
I was surprised that she kept her ears on for a while. She must of known it was Minnie Mouse because she loves anything with Mickey or Minnie on it! :) I haven't decided if she is going to be Minnie for Halloween yet. It's not that warm of a costume and I hate covering it all up, but she looks so cute in it!
We had a boring day for the most part just stayed home nothing exciting! I deciding to at least take a walk with the girls and Jojo wanted to ride her bike. So Sisi had to ride hers too.

And before we headed back home we stopped at the park.

Well, I guess...that's it! :)

Before I was a Mom

Before I was a Mom I made and ate hot meals.
I had unstained clothing.
I had quiet conversations on the phone.

Before I was a Mom I slept as late as I wanted.
And never worried about how late I got into bed.
I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.

Before I was Mom I cleaned my house each day.
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to lullabies.

Before I was a Mom I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom I had never been puked on, pooped on, spit on, peed on, or pinched by tiny fingers.
Before I was a Mom I had complete control of my mind, my thoughts, my body and all my feelings.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a Mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important.

Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was OK.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache or the satisfaction of being a Mom.

I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much......
......before I was a Mom.

Nice Kittens...

My girl's are kitties half the time at our house! :) It's cute to see them crawl around and meow like cats! It makes me laugh how good they play together now...it really is so sweet! Cambree will ask me to put water in a bowl for her to drink out of (you know like real cats do), and of coarse she will lick you just like a real kitten too! :)

They all 3 had so much fun together! :) My two + my niece Kays who I watch a few times a week now. Here are a few Pict's :) We were bored and it was rainy out!

Just a little peak...Baby Kai

I was so happy and excited to take picture's of this cute boy! I haven't taken any picts since he was a newborn and now he is almost one! He is simply irresistible! Thanks Aly for letting me take them! Can't wait to meet baby sister soon!
