Stella faves.

Recent Stella faves:

her babbling words:   Mama, Dada, & ball

her little backwards wave to say hi

her scooting...especially under weird nooks

her passion for REAL food...a Mama's girl for sure

the way she loves kisses and hugs from just about anybody

her adoration towards her sisters

the way she tilts her head and raises her arm when she wants to nurse

her little squeals when she's happy and her grunt/sighs when she is falling alseep

the way she loves a water bottle over any toy

her grabby hands, especially when she grabs her little toes

her sweet but serious demeanor

the way she lays her little head on me and snuggles when she is getting tired

her smile, enough said.

Just gotta love our little Stella bell.

We sure do.  A whole lot!

Happy eight months my doll!

a quick update.

I really hate when I am behind on my blog.  I mean, who really wants to see our Easter pictures this late?  Should I even bother?  Life is crazy and it's really hard to find the time to blog.  But I honestly miss it!  I usually browse every ones blogs instead of updating my own.  Just the way it goes most of the time.

We have been enjoying all the wonder spring like weather we've been having.  Very anxious for some Summer time!  Our family is doing well.  Michael is busy and working a lot.  Cambree is on her last few weeks of Preschool and she will be out for Summer.  It's crazy to think how much she has achieved this year in school.  I love hearing her read and sing me songs she has learned.  Can't believe I will be sending her off to Kindergarten in the fall.  Good thing I have a few more months before I have to gulp it all down.  I wish I could bottle this time up and keep forever.  I love having my little ones all home with me.

On another note, Jo Jo had a little accident last week....she broke her collar bone at Chic fil a.  Such a bummer.  Somehow while playing on the slide.  She was absolutely terrified to get it x-ray ed.  She screamed bloody murder...Michael had to hold her down.  She later told me that she was afraid once they saw something was wrong they would hurt her.  ;(  Poor girl.  So now she is wearing a little brace for 5 weeks or so until it heals itself. (this is also the second time this has happened, she was only 16 months the first time.)  I can't even believe it, but she is moving around just fine now.

As for Sienna she is just as busy as ever.  Constantly wanting to go somewhere or go play with one of her cousins.  She's a sweetheart!  She seems to always have a way with making me smile and laugh.  She lifts me up when I need a boost and her smile lights up a room every time.  She is my more needy child, but I love all the time that she spends by my side.  And she is still is such a great helper when it comes to her baby sister.

Stella is growing like a weed with a personality that has flourished as well.  I can't even believe she is 8 months old today in fact!  I'm really going to face her first birthday in 4 months?  I really need to post a separate post with all of the things she is now doing.  She is happy and most importantly fat and healthy.

I'm continually blessed.

Catching up - St. George

in March our little family was invited to stay in St. George with some friends.  When I first heard about the little get away, I was thrilled to say the least.  It's been a long time since this Mama has been anywhere.  So thank you to our dear friends, Van and Kat for thinking of us.  The girls were so excited to get a way as well.  Cambree kind of found a little crush (Joseph, Van's nephew) while we were on vacation.  It was actually quite funny.  Although we thought a few times at maybe telling her to stop holding his hand so much.  But it was innocent, of coarse and she just looked up to him so much.  So we let her enjoy her new found friend.

It was nice to catch up with friends, go out to eat, and let our kids play together.  We did a little sight-seeing and let the kids climb a little out on the red rocks.  It was so nice to feel the warmth of the sun.  It did me some good.  I'm aching for warm sunny days.  I can't wait.  Sienna had fun outside with some sidewalk chalk and the others had fun trying to catch lizards in the neighborhood.  I think by far the funniest little activity we did was visit a real farm.  The kids had a blast there.  And for me, it was discovering the steak house Kat made reservations too - The Anasazi Steak house.  We enjoyed a delicious steak that came out on a 500 degree rock that you cook to your liking.  One of the best steaks I've had.  I think both Michael and I will defiantly be sure to go back and visit again next time.

I have been terribly busy with my little three tornado's.  So I didn't get time to edit all of our pictures from St. George.  So I will just post a few.  Mostly from the morning at the farm that the kids loved so much.

more updates to come.
